Your First Look at the Legendary Black Pony
This is the black pony that Charles Morritt advised Houdini to
employ as the object of envanishment when he presented
Morritt's Disappearing Donkey illusion. The letter in which the
illusion and the pony are discussed appear in part below thanks
to Stanley Palm who owns the original Charles Morritt to Houdini.
letter.
Please note the Elock drawing of Morritt's
performance of the Disappearing Donkey. This
illusion employed the same secret as The
Vanishing Elephant illusion that Houdini
presented.
